Chunky Handmade Maple & Oak Chopping Board with Juice Groove and Raised Feet
Some boards are a thin piece of wood. This one is a proper slab.
The frame is thick, light-coloured maple, with chamfered corners that run down into four solid feet. Set into the middle is a flat oak work surface with a fine, straight grain. A groove runs round the panel to catch juices, so carving a joint or slicing fruit doesn't end up across the worktop. The light, clean look suits modern kitchens, and the weight keeps it planted while you chop.
Use it for everyday prep, carving the Sunday roast, or as a serving board for bread and cheese. It's heavy enough to take the use and good-looking enough to leave out.
