How it started

Greg was born and raised in Wisconsin, where he spent over 30 years running his own carpentry businesses before bringing that experience to Suffolk with TG Wood Goods. Three decades of working with wood, start to finish, means every piece that comes out of the workshop has real craft behind it — not a hobby, a trade.

The way we work

Every piece is built to order, by hand, using solid wood rather than veneers or particleboard. Nothing is mass-produced or pulled off a shelf — each item is made from scratch once an order comes in, so no two pieces are ever quite identical.

TG Wood Goods pieces are made to be used, not just looked at. They're built for real kitchens, family gatherings, summer BBQs and nights with friends — solid, practical pieces designed to pick up character as the years go by. The aim is simple: make it properly, make it useful, and make it last.
